Augustus H. Shaw IV, Esq., CCAL is the founding member of Shaw & Lines, LLC. For over 24 years, Augustus has advised community associations, non-profit corporations, real estate developers and general businesses.

Augustus also serves as a Faculty Associate at the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law where he instructs the course Homeowner and Community Association Law.

Augustus is a fellow of the College of Community Association Lawyers and serves as a Member and as President-Elect of the College of Community Association Lawyers Board of Governors. Augustus was also a past Board Member and past Vice President of CAI’s Central Arizona Chapter. Augustus has been a speaker at CCAL Law Seminars, CAI National Conferences as well as local seminars for the State Bar of Arizona and the City of Scottsdale, AZ Neighborhood Academy.

Augustus received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona (1996) and his Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law (2000). He is licensed to practice law before the State Supreme Court of the State of Arizona, the State Supreme Court of the State of Nebraska, the Unites States District Courts of Arizona and Nebraska and the United States Tax Court.

Augustus is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and an avid golfer. When not practicing law or engaged in community service, Augustus can be found on the golf course.
