Before his career as an attorney, Mr. Lines worked for a nationally recognized insurance company adjusting liability and property damage claims. This experience piloted him into his legal profession and insurance defense practice.

Mr. Lines began focusing on community association law in 2002. He has represented planned communities, condominiums, office condos and timeshare clients throughout Arizona. His representation includes all aspects of community association law and real property law, including insurance defense, civil litigation, foreclosure, commercial collections and contract enforcement. He also represents several business clients and licensed professionals in corporate matters, commercial litigation and administrative proceedings. His clients include business entities, mortgage companies, management companies, real estate investors, contractors and developers.

Mr. Lines practices in courts throughout Arizona, regularly appearing in courts at all levels, including justice courts, superior courts, administrative hearings, federal bankruptcy court and the Arizona Court of Appeals.

Mr. Lines is frequently invited to speak on community association law issues to various audiences and has taught continuing education seminars on community association law to Arizona lawyers and licensed real estate professionals, both locally and nationally. He is a contributing author for course work materials and certification training through the Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM) and the Community Association Institute (CAI). Mr. Lines also regularly presents educational seminars for boards of directors through The Leadership Centre in Arizona.

In 2008 and 2009, The Leadership Centre recognized Mr. Lines with its distinguished “Instructor of the Year” award. In 2010, Mr. Lines was admitted member of the prestigious College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL) of the national Community Association Institute. Admission as a member of the College is limited to a select group of lawyers nationwide recognized for excellence in the practice of community association law and their commitment to high standards of ethical conduct. Since 1993, fewer than 200 lawyers have been granted membership in the College among the thousands of attorneys practicing community association law throughout the United States. In 2011, Mr. Lines was selected as one of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers based on a peer-reviewed nomination and selection for his “demonstrated record of high achievement, excellent legal skills, and a well-earned reputation for integrity.”
